Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

This year I decided to change-up my fall decor.  In the past, I decorated for fall using mostly orange, brown, and red. I noticed that once I had everything up I kept wanting to change things.  Finally, I realized I was using all the wrong colors for my home and the super flashy colors needed to hit the curb!

Fall colors

This year I am using white, purple and plum as my main colors. Plum seems to be the color of the season and was super easy to find.  If you keep up with my blog posts you know I went straight to pottery barn for all my fall essential. Pictured above are the faux white pumpkins, , pillow covers, plaid throw. The small pumpkins maybe on backorder or out.  The plaid throw is last years model but I linked a similar one. The throw is so soft and gets used daily in our family.

Vase fillers are a decorating game changer! These acorn vase fillers are super easy to use with your everyday decor like lanterns, vases, bowls just to name a few.  If you use them in the lanterns pair it with automatic flickering candles! I have them throughout my house and these candles give off such a warm and cozy glow. I keep mine in a timer to turn on around 7:00pm.  Countless number of my guests have fallen in love with these candles.  With so many of them going straight to pottery barn to buy them.

I also purchased these pink/white/plum hydrangea to accent my pillow covers.  And lets face it…I am a boy mom so it offsets the balls, legos and monsters trucks.

Fall scents are always so amazing! With each new season I always make a run to get new wall flower scents and maybe even a seasonal plugin. This plug-in is a super plus because it is also a nightlight! This particular scent is Leaves and its my favorite this year!

My boys love helping me pick out pumpkins and were available for assisting in flower transport this year. Score!

Our farmers market and local cider mills have the best pumpkins! They have all the best colors, shapes and sizes and this makes it so hard to choose.  My front porch is lucky enough to be the new home to the largest pumpkin from the farmers market. Pumpkin gold for sure! Some of the neighborhood kids even come over just to visit it.

Below are a few of my outdoor mums and pumpkins that match the indoor decor.

I truly cherish my followers and comments! I would love to hear about your fall decorating style! Wishing you a pumpkin spice filled fall!
